We are the Kaulsdorf Orienteering and Running Club e.V.

Founded on 21.06.1990, our roots lie in the former Hellersdorf training group of the BSG Lokomotive “Erich Steinfurth”, orienteering section. From 17 founding members at the time, we have now grown to around 80 members.

We are primarily dedicated to popular and recreational sports. The training is above all joyful and varied, so as not to take away the fun from the less sporty among us. Our members come from all age groups between 8 and 88 and almost all live in Hellersdorf. Two fifths of our members are younger than 18. Many of the older athletes only got to know and love this beautiful sport after their children.
Training takes place in joint training groups. This spurs on the children in particular, as they can constantly measure themselves against the “big ones”. There is a great sense of togetherness within the association.
The existing team spirit can best be experienced in the team competitions that take place. Birthdays and other special occasions are often celebrated together. Another highlight of the club’s life is the annual training camp during the Easter holidays.
