The Fencing Centre Berlin (FZB) would like to bring the fascinating sport of fencing with all its facets closer to children and young people as well as adults and for this purpose creates framework conditions that help young fencers to optimally develop their positive abilities and values, regardless of their social status or handicap. Special attention is given to youth work, senior sports and sports for the disabled. The wheelchair fencing section at the FZB enables physically disabled people and also mentally disabled people to fence in a fully integrative way within the fencing section.
Training times
- Beginners' course for children and young people up to 18 years: 1 time per quarter on Mondays from 4 p.m. onwards
- Beginners' course for older beginners: 1 time per quarter Wednesdays from 7 pm
- Children & Pupils: Monday 5.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m., Tuesday + Wednesday 3.30 p.m. - 7.00 p.m. and Thursday 5.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m. (Further appointments by arrangement)
- Course for lateral entrants: Wednesday 19.00 - 21.00, further dates by arrangement
- Epee juniors & active incl.wheelchair fencing: Tuesday 19.00 - 21.30; Thursday 18.30 - 21.00
- Sabre children: Tuesday and Thursday from 5.30 p.m.
- Sabre juniors & active incl.wheelchair fencing: Tuesday and Thursday from 18.30
- Individual lesson: by arrangement
