14th Marzahn-Hellersdorf Health Conference

On 27 October, we participated in the 14th District Health Conference in Marzahn-Hellersdorf! It was a successful, informative and exciting event, where we were also able to present the Physical Activity Network, together with our partner Novo Nordisk from Cities Changing Diabetes. The conference was the starting point for the development of a district food strategy. Together with other community experts, we discussed how balanced nutrition can be made possible for all citizens of our district, what approaches, resources and needs there are.

Bicycle tour of the district centers

On Friday, June 10, 2022, the district centers Kaulsdorf, Biesdorf, MOSAIK and KOMPASS invite you to the bicycle tour on the occasion of the “Active Days of Generations”. Under the motto “Marzahn-Hellersdorf moves!” everyone cycles together for more fitness and health. Start is at 10:00 am at the district center Biesdorf. Then it is cycled from “house to house”. So all participants will be on the road as a common group. At each station there is a little refreshment and something to “recharge your batteries”.Around 2:00 p.m., the cyclists will then reach the Mosaik district center, where they will have a picnic at the end. Workshop in Kaulsdorf: “Our efforts have paid off if only one fights back!” Yesterday, Thursday, a workshop for self-defense took place in the Kaulsdorf district center MITTENDRIN on the initiative of the movement network. Legal and practical tips were given on how “man or woman” can and should behave in the event of a physical threat.The trainers Silvio Menzel and Marco Tuchen from Fit und Fun Marzahn e.V. had already developed their course concepts before Corona. Cricket pulsates on the green space “Place Internationale On Saturday, May 14, 2022, the Cricket party was held on the green area across from the refugee shelter at 78 Maxie Wander Street. 19 players of the clubs “Hellersdorfer Athletik-Club Berlin – Cricket Women” (ACB), Berlin Cricket Academy (BCA) and International Cricket Academy Berlin (ICAB) provided excitement on the field prepared for this purpose.
